Terms of Service

A statement of work document with the project overview of works to be completed and an estimated budget will need to be signed by both parties before the project commencement. The estimated project price given is vat & render inclusive but does not include later requested changes or changes beyond the initial agreed upon scope/deliverables. Additional requested changes will be charged at €400+vat per day.

Total Cost Includes:

Design - Creation of Style & Production Boards

Assets Preparation - Creation of Production Ready Assets

Animation - 2D, 3D or FX animation of assets

Editing - All picture/music, compositing/editing tasks, including final conform

Mix - Audio mixing of all music, VO and SFX elements into final track

Rendering - Use of computer(s) or render farm (where required) to render animation

Posting / File Prep - All file hosting, compression and preparation of deliverables 

Total Cost does not include

Stock - Music / Images / Video Licensing Fees

Project files - Source files / Working files

Voiceover - All recording and usage fees unless provided

Revisions - Not included in initial estimates unless otherwise stated

If the project scope changes after the initial agreed upon overview/brief/estimates as per the above Statement of Work, or if the project extends past the agreed end date (including prolonged delayed client feedback) overages may be assessed. Changes to the project scope will increase the budget of the project and will therefore null in void the estimated budget and deadline as set out in this Statement of Work and a revised version will need to be prepared and signed before further work commences. Failure to do so will release the freelancer from contract and can leave the project with immediate effect and must be paid for all work completed to date.

Invoices are set at Net 30 and a 10% late fee charge will be automatically applied 7 days after an invoice becomes overdue. Deposits of 25% the estimated price must be paid upfront before the project commences. All previous invoices must be paid in full before another project can get started. If source files are required this must be stated as part of the initial deliverable requests. This will be at a cost of 2-4 times the charge of the overall project. Vat rate is standard 23%. Client agrees to allow work created to be included in freelancers showreel once the project has been released unless otherwise stated. Client also agrees to lenient extension of project deadlines in the case of urgent family illness, death and unforeseen circumstances on the freelancers side.
